I am a Ph.D. candidate at Cornell University, Department of Psychology and Human Neuroscience Institute. My B.Sc degree was in Computer Science. I also hold three M.Sc degrees in Machine Intelligence from the University of Tehran, and in Systems Engineering and Psychology from Cornell University. I teach a course titled Affective and Social Neuroscience at Cornell and work as a senior researcher in the Affect and Cognition Lab. My interests include time perception, heart-brain interaction, interoception, and emotion. I utilize computational models, data science, and machine learning as research tools.
